CCHA Sportsmanship Award Vote

The Sportsmanship Award will consist of a sponsored Cup to be housed in the CCHA Hall of Fame bearing the recipient’s name and year awarded. A ring will also be presented at the Annual General Meeting, for the recipient to keep, which will carry the CCHA Logo.

In order to be eligible for this prestigious award, one must be an active Youth, Amateur, Non-pro or Open competitor, in good standing, during the current year. He or she must show positive attitude, kindness, integrity, helpfulness, and willingness to set a positive example in and around the show. Please note it is not to be confused with a horsemanship award or a horse person award.

In order to vote, one must be a member in good standing, not necessarily an active competitor. Each membership number will be allowed one vote. We are not interested in knowing the voter’s name, only the membership number. There will be a voting form included also in the CCHA newsletter which must be mailed in or faxed no later than October 31st. Votes post-marked any later will not be accepted. The winning competitor does not have to have earned points or money in the current year.

The winning recipient is someone that is held in the highest esteem within the Canadian Cutting Horse Association by his or her fellow members.
